Bagua Zhang Class Notes 9.7.10 Sifu

Small class - 4 students

Started late - we were all practicing pushing with An energy from the previous class
I introduced the new hand position that I saw in Wang Shu Jins book, Lotus Leaf Palm
In his book he says that this particular hand position stimulates the kidney chi to the upper T'an T'ien to help open it.
We practiced just the hand position - then with a simple change from side to side, holding the posture for a few breaths - we transitioned to circle walking with direction changes - I talked about the figure eight pattern going through the middle of the circle - we progressed to straight line practice/review of the first Yin Fu set using the new palm position when coming back to the basic walk.

Class ended on time....the group was tired!
