Notes on 12/23/2010 Staff Training

I went to the Staff open training this Thursday, December 23rd, and did the T'ai Chi Dance with Marcia and the T'ai Chi sword form with Marcia and Colleen. I found out that Marcia has learned the fan form and even taken some lessons with Diane Cannon so we are going to revive it for ourselves.

Comments from my banjo teacher that could also apply to martial arts training: "The hard part for most people are to take the time to identify and extract the problem areas, and to have the patience to slowly practice them."

Another interesting quote: "A genuine education enables one to acquire, for oneself, the skills one happens, at a given stage of one's life, to need." (From the Foreward to Mathematics - From the Birth of Numbers)

Have a great holiday.
